Elon Musk Shamefully Claims His Estranged Trans Child is “Dead”

South Africa-born billionaire Elon Musk has publicly rejected his estranged daughter’s transgender identity, claiming he was “tricked” into allowing her to take puberty blockers and that he has “lost his son.”

In 2022, Musk’s 18-year-old daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, legally changed her gender marker and name, cutting ties with her father.

“I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form,” she stated at the time.

Now, in an interview with Jordan Peterson from the conservative news platform The Daily Wire, Musk spoke disparagingly about Vivian’s transition, not only misgendering and deadnaming her but also describing it as “evil.”

“I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys,” said Musk. “This was before I really had any understanding of what was going on. And we had Covid going on. So there was a lot of confusion. And I was told [Vivian] might commit suicide.”

Peterson then went on a rant, asserting that a vast conspiracy of cowardly and pathological doctors are for some reason purposefully lying to parents to get their children onto puberty blockers.

“It’s increasingly evil,” responded Musk, “and I agree with you that the people promoting this should go to prison. It wasn’t explained to me that puberty blockers are actually just sterilisation drugs. So, anyway, I lost my son, essentially.”

Musk continued, “They call it deadnaming for a reason. The reason it’s called deadnaming is because your son is dead. My son is dead, killed by the woke-mind virus.” He chillingly added, “I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that.”

Puberty blockers are not sterilisation drugs. They are used to delay or pause the changes of puberty in transgender young people who have started puberty. According to the Mayo Clinic, they offer “a chance to explore gender identity” and also give “youth and their families time to plan for the psychological, medical, developmental, social, and legal issues that may lie ahead.”

LGBTQ+ journalist Erin Reed reacted to Musk’s interview with contempt. “Elon Musk just deadnamed his own trans daughter to hundreds of millions. He is exactly the kind of father so many trans people have had to run away from, hide from, stay closeted because of.”

The Advocate Magazine stated that “Elon Musk’s comments about his trans daughter prove why she doesn’t speak to him.”

Musk was born in Pretoria and emigrated to North America when he was 17. He is estimated to be worth more than $200 billion, making him the richest person in the world.

Since taking over X (formerly Twitter), Musk has become increasingly conservative in his views. He is supporting Donald Trump in the US presidential elections, promising to donate millions to his campaign, and has taken to sharing right-wing conspiracy theories and dangerous misinformation.

His platform has also come under fire for not taking action against hateful speech, often failing to uphold its own guidelines and community standards.

Musk recently announced that he would move the headquarters of SpaceX and X from California to Texas after a law was passed in California that bars teachers from outing their trans students to their parents.
