Pink Loerie 2018 Parade Gallery

It was an explosion of colour and LGBTQ pride as hundreds of visitors and locals turned out for the Pink Loerie Mardi Gras and Arts Festival’s street parade in Knysna on Saturday.

The vibrant procession through the Western Cape town is one of the highlights of the annual LGBTQ festival. As always, Knysna came to a complete stop as residents lined the main street to cheer on the participants.

This year, the parade had an especially international flavour. It included the 19 delegates from around the globe who competed in the 10th Mr Gay World competition, which was held in tandem with the Pink Loerie festival.
