Men of Moonlight in stunning new Calvin Klein campaign

The male actors from the Oscar winning Moonlight have been featured in a new campaign for Calvin Klein underwear.

The film’s most talked about star is, of course, Mahershala Ali, who scored a best supporting actor Academy Award on Sunday for his role as a caring drug dealer.

He appears in the Spring 2017 campaign looking moody, thoughtful and downright sultry. Also especially appealing is Trevante Rhodes who plays the lead character of Chiron in his adult years.

Trevante is shown cheekily lounging in nothing but his Calvins in a tub chair. The campaign also includes the actors who play the younger versions of Chiron; Alex Hibbert and Ashton Sanders.

On Sunday, Moonlight became the first LGBTQ film to win best picture at the Oscars. It also won for best adapted screenplay (Barry Jenkins and Alvin McCraney).

Directed by Jenkins, Moonlight has been lauded not only for being a remarkably crafted coming-of-age film but also for its insightful depiction of the life of a black gay man who grows up in the projects in Miami.
