They’re back, sweetie darling! Watch the Ab Fab movie teaser

We just peed our pants! After years of anticipation the Absolutely Fabulous movie is finally about to make its début.

Creator and star Jennifer Saunders revealed in January last year that she had finished writing the script for the cult show’s big screen outing.

All the favourites will be returning for the movie, including Julia Sawalha (Saffy), Jane Horrocks (Bubble), June Whitfield (Mother) as well as a host of celebs like Rebel Wilson, Kate Moss, Lulu, Jean Paul Gaultier, Cara Delevingne and Emma Bunton.

Absolutely Fabulous, affectionately known as Ab Fab, is one of the global gay community’s most beloved series, thanks to its irreverent, decadent and decidedly camp humour.

The show, co-starring Joanna Lumley, was originally broadcast between 1992 and 1995. It was revived for two more series and various specials, most recently in 2012.

The return of Eddy and Patsy has now been made official with the release of the film’s first teaser trailer.

While it doesn’t actually reveal anything about the film’s plot, we’re grinning from ear to ear just seeing the two icons back in action.

The movie is set to hit theatres in the UK on 1 July. A South African release date has not yet been announced
