Daniel Radcliffe is our new bear (or should that be cub) fantasy. He’s shown once and for all that his boyish days as Harry Potter are done and dusted, with a sizzling new photo shoot for Italian Vanity Fair.
The 26-year-old British actor flaunted his beard and furry chiselled chest and abs in the images by Charlie Gray.
In the interview, he revealed that he was happy to accept being voted “Best Rear of the Year” by a UK website last year.
“My girlfriend told me about my ‘victory’ in a text message. I found it a bit strange: I haven’t showed off my butt in the last year! But I’m grateful to those who voted, I’d be very flattered to be considered again next year,” Daniel said.
It’s not his first time baring skin; he famously appeared totally in the buff on stage for the 2007 production of Equus. In 2013, he also starred as gay poet Allen Ginsberg in the film Kill Your Darlings.
Radcliffe has been a long-time supporter of LGBT equality, especially of The Trevor Project; an organisation providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBT youth in the US.
