NAKED ROWERS BACK TO FIGHT HOMOPHOBIA

warwick_naked_rowers_are_back_for_2015England’s Warwick University Rowing Club has released another steamy calender bursting at the seams with sexy naked rowers.

It’s all for a good cause, of course. Not only does the calendar help the club stay afloat, it also raises funds to combat homophobia.

Revenue from its sale goes towards Sport Allies, a programme to reach out to young people challenged by bullying, homophobia or low self-esteem.

The 2014 calendar was featured on Good Morning, America and E! Entertainment, raised more than £200,000 for the club and for charity, and won two awards at the UK’s National Calendar Awards.

The boys are now aiming to emulate last year’s spectacular success with the 2015 edition.

The calendar was recently launched in London by openly gay actor and activist Sir Ian McKellen.

Warwick is a genuine rowing club. It was founded in 1966 and has produced some of the most outstanding rowers of recent years.

The idea for the first calendar came about in 2009 because the team struggled to maintain their dilapidated boats.

Its success now means that the club is not only on a firm footing but has also been able to extend the profits to helping the community.

This year’s calendar – the hottest yet, we reckon – can be purchased on-line now (along with posters, films and more).

In the meantime, enjoy a few teasers of what you’ll be able to find inside its pages.
