TOM FORD MARRIES HIS PARTNER

Hunky designer and film director Tom Ford has revealed that he has married his longtime partner of 27 years, Richard Buckley.

Ford (52) made the announcement at a public discussion with Lady Kinvara Balfour in London on Monday night at Apple’s Regent Street store.

“We are now married, which is nice,” he said as he showed the audience his wedding ring, reported The Telegraph.

“I know that was just made legal in the UK which is great, but we were married in the States,” he explained.

Buckley is the former Editor in Chief of Vogue Hommes International and is 14 years older than Ford.

The two men have been together since 1986 and are raising their son, Alexander John Buckley Ford, who was born in September 2012.

According to British GQ, Ford told Monday’s crowd: “I used to spend most of my time at home naked, but now we have a child it means we have a nanny and so I can’t come downstairs naked and have a bowl of cereal in the morning. Before I had a child I literally took off all my clothes the minute I walked in the door.”

In 2011, Ford appeared on the cover of Out magazine’s “love issue” kissing Buckley.

He said at the time: “Some of the longest relationships I know of are same-sex couples. A lot of my straight friends have married and divorced and married and divorced in the time Richard and I have been together.”

Ford became famous for heading up the Gucci and Yves Saint-Laurent fashion labels. He went on to start his own Tom Ford brand and directed the acclaimed 2009 film A Single Man.
