SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS TOO GAY FOR UKRAINE?
The Ukrainian Moral Commission has declared that the American television cartoon character Spongebob Squarepants is gay and recommended that he be banned from the airwaves.
According to the commission, Spongebob is gay because he often holds hands with his best friend, a pink starfish called Patrick.
Other evidence cited includes the fact that the character receives boating lessons from a teacher called Mrs Puff, ‘puff’ being a term to describe gay men, claims the commission.
It called the show, as well as others such as Family Guy, Pokemon, The Simpsons and Teletubbies as a “real threat to children”.
The commission warned that in addition to promoting homosexuality the programmes could lead to “the destruction of the family, and the promotion of drugs and other vices”.
The show’s creator Stephen Hillenburg has previously denied claims that Spongebob Squarepants, which has a large cult gay following, is meant to be gay. In 2002 he said that, like any sponge in the real world, Spongebob is simply asexual.
I laughed at this article for about five minutes. I fail to see how pokemon can decmate a family. Everyone older than 5 hates the Telatubbies and I can see why these ignorant prudes are going off on Family Guy and The Simpsons. I’m sure some of the parents on this dumb ass board can’t stand thier kids’ pokemon card collection everywhere in thier houses… and it is cheesey as fuck so… This is the best way they thought to get rid them for good. Well they better prepare for trouble! and make it double! (ul only get that if uv seen the show)
Seriously?!?!lol!! I swear some commissions don’t have much to do with their time. How uneducated can you be to believe that a child watching a cartoon you believe to be gay; will “turn” gay because of what they see the cartoon doing?!?! What’s wrong with these people?!?!lol.
