STUDY CONFIRMS BI MEN ARE LEGIT

In what may not be much of a revelation for some, a new study has confirmed that at least some bisexual men are indeed attracted to both men and women, reports The New York Times.

Researchers at Northwestern University in the United States recruited subjects online who identified as bisexual and had been in relationships with both men and women.

The men were shown heterosexual and homosexual “intimacy” videos while their erections were monitored.

The results revealed that the bisexual men responded to both videos, unlike the gay and straight subjects.

While this may seem obvious to many, the study contradicts similar 2005 research which suggested that bisexual men tended to actually be gay.

The authors of the new study believe that this was due to the fact that the men in the first study were primarily recruited through gay publications, while they had more stringent criteria to select they bisexual subjects.

The results may give some comfort and credence to bisexual men who are often dismissed as simply being closeted or repressed homosexuals.
