. natural?! please! it’ll be difficult to find gay guys any more plastic that the ones we have in Cape Town. So up their own asses its a wonder how they know the sun is up they can go to the beach… to work on they’re fake tans and bleached ‘beach’ hair. Really Johan i think you live in a very different cape town than what i do, or do you live tableview/durbanville side – i have friends out in those areas and the gay community is much more of a community that what they are in the city. they are exactly what you describe – when you slightly different form them they wont speak to you and wont even acknowledge you in the clubs even if you sat next to them at a dinner the night before.
but hey, i sound bitter now and i’m not one of those ‘bitter moffies’ – i guess the scene and people around are what you make of it and i’ve made my choices and making it more fun for me, i suggest you do the same… if the plastic bothers you, dont play with it.
Your reply to Johan. I must say I love your reply, very funny. I am from Plattekloof and fully agree, the City boys are spray tanned, bleached and somewhat trashy. They think they are it but in fact are nothing. P.S. Johan don’t cast stones if you live in Plastic City.

Tnx for some maturity and sense Gay south african. Whilst i am not at all getting involved in this futile debate i merely want to say gongrats on a mature and solid statement Gay south african. Throughing lame, immature and generalised comments around only causes animosity amongst us and divides us as a group! Anyway i just hope that i get lumped into the mature, and upstanding part of the gay community. (i respect the right to oppinions! )
