Simply Beautiful!. These photos of hot guys at Simply Blue are a real turn on. So many hunky guys. As for Mr Simply Blue – you are gorgeous. I love dark skinned guys (I’m white). I find them so much more genuine (at least the one’s I’ve had the pleasure to date). Congtratulations to the organisers – looks lioke people really enjoyed themselves!

SIMPLY BLUE – GET WITH IT. This is now more than blatant match fixing that happens at these “Pagents of Mockery” at Simply Blue. Both Miss & Mr Mockery a.k.a Simply Blue where chosen long before all the other contestant with courage stepped onto the ramp. Both of these title holders are not deserving of the sashes they so proudly strut. It is as clear as a cloudless day, that thier relationships with the owners is what cemented their “win” I thought I was seeing things at the Miss SB, when one of the judges (a regular patron) sat at the Judges table, drinking a beer, whilst smoking (how classy??) The other Judge, Miss Black Pride (far from black) did not even bother to look at the contestants. Tell me this is not match fixing?? I’ve travelled all the corners of the world and been to clubs there, and Simply Blue stands toe to toe with some of them, but blantant match fixing sours the taste for me. Come now Jerome and Dino, you guys have got a good thing going, dont ruin it with things like this!!

tyrese. What exactly are you on about here?? Does it matter that you were there for the heats etc, etc…? Exactly where does your point lie in this statement? Does it matter or not if there where 10 heat rounds if the winner/s are chosen pre-competion?? Would have loved to have been there for whatever these heats where, for I know this would have further cemented my stance.

Grow up guys. I have read all the comments and I must say I disagree with the fact that the title goes to a clique every year. Well if that clique has it, DON’T TRY TO BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM. Guys we need to grow up and realize that in the gay scene you either have it or you don’t. The judges is not always properly chosen, I agree, but at the end it is them who makes the decision. I normally attend the pageants @ Simply Blue and yes, I do not agree with the Miss Simply Blue winner either, as for Mr Simply Blue, the skinny dude deserved the title. He might not have the looks, but he certainly had style in the “attire” section. All the guys looked boring with their outfits. The winner surprised me all the way. Kept me in suspense all night. I apologise in advance if at some stage I lose my objectivity in replying to the absolute non-sense that this person speaks. The writer (Face the Music) clearly has no understanding of the word contradiction, for he/she contradicts themselves a number of times, quote, “…not properly chosen” but he/she supports their decision. Queen Shows. Simply Blue – where do I start. 1st of all. The new club totally suck. Braamfontein will never be the gay capital of Jozzy as it use to be. You need to know I cum from purple Fly, Champions and Shaft days. Still young thou in my mid 20’s. The old Simply Blue use to be nice but not a place I was fond of. I will not set foot in that stuff club under a hotel where boys go pump there brains out after the club and fcuk each other in-between buildings. All the pageants I have been to at Simply Blue has all been rigged. We talking about Mr Simply blue that goes back way back when Jerome’s Nephew won Elridge… You all should know it by now if you don’t go to simply regularly, You will not be on the Guest List and go in free every Saturday, You can not run up a tab @ the bar and YOU WILL MOST DEFINITELY not win Mr. Simply Blue. That’s just how the cookie crumbles @ The Jerome And Dino Empire… hehehe!
And those terrible Cabaret Show’s. Please travel abroad and see that the gay life overseas is SO MUCH better then this crap we should pay for.

Yes, whilst there is a bit of fixing up to do, I feel (this from the few times I’ve been there) on the whole, the club is a cool place to go and have a party. As said previously, Simply Blue will give lots of clubs overseas a good run for thier money.
