Qc successfully put on another massive Fireman’s Ball Pride after-party on Saturday night, complete with a host of 5FM DJs and hundreds of Joburg’s beautiful gay party people.

Awesome. Just like last year, this was the highlight of the day. We enjoyed every second of it, and will definitely be back next year.

What??. I’m sorry to say guys that this was the worst party we were there for an hour and left. The place REALLY felt like a meat market and pretenscious. Last years party was really great this year was CRAP, needless to say Therapy was brilliant!!
Been waiting for the bitcing to start…. You should have waited a bit longer perhaps. Admittedly the music was bit shitty (commercial?) at first, but got really great later on. Clubbing is like dating – if you’ve made up your mind not to like somone, you won’t. But if you give someone a chance, they might pleasantly surprise you…
What?. Well as far as I heard Therapy sucked big time… Had an awesome time at Firemans Ball… Great music, great people… Great time.. Everyone ended up at QC’s ball….

Therapy. I would rather do Therapy over QC any day. The people are real, the music is awesome… and there aren’t any bitchy camp little queens making remarks about everyone and everything. RuPaul was a bit of a let down, but the party after that rocked 🙂 It’s just a difference in taste I suppose.

Pit of pretense. After browsing through the photos published of QC events and Fireman’s ball over the past months… Is it just me or has the North of Johannesburg just sunk into a pit of pretense…? Fragile facades and noses in the air?
I can’t wait for the recession and for the depression because baby that credit crunch is going to get so mean in the North it’s going to pull the fraying rug of self-righteousness right out from under their feet.
