got the T shirt already. While one aspires to being pleasant at best, the Winter ranges all have a familiar “i’ve seen that somewhere before” feeling baout them. Then you reaslise that you already have.
The clothes are as exciting as a Truworths catalogue. Nice if you like Truworths- but this was a design collection.
Model selection- helps if they look good in yr clothes.
Good Work!. I realy like House of Ole Winter Collection. The designer is so talented, His mix of colours is very good. I heard of him when he dressed Somizi @ the Metro FM Awards i even thought he was an International Desirgner. I also love the Mashangani Bags.
. creative minds are supposed to be just that.. “creative”, most of these collections are bland and 3years ago.. there’s so much more out there.. somewhere!
what do these clothes project/embody? . Fashion to me is an embodiment of the Zeitgeist, the physiognomy (spiritual architecture) of a country, nation, gender, etc. I see in these pictures a portrayal of sloth, indifference, a-sexuality, attempts to try to shock, depression, morbidity, and femininity (only men model, but in most cases it would have looked better on women). Lovely clothes, nice designs, wild ideas, but are they a correct portrayal of the South African Zeitgeist, masculinity, the male soul?
HUH?. Please!!!!! … Zeitgeist … what rubbish!!!! Fashion is a suggestion. It’s up to the wearer to decide how to put it all together in terms of their own personality. Regurgitate the dictionary you accidentaly imbibed, dear!
Winter Collection. We’ve come a long way when it comes to fashion. Now we should challenge the barriers and push to a haute couture… Great respect to all who presented…
Winter Collection. I personally like what was shown; this being said I understand that we need to push the barriers a little further, break them for lack of a better. Think that we are still playing it safe to a certain extend; but I also think that we have grown in leaps and bounds, in comparison to what it used to be. No lines, no silhouettes, dreary.
Great!. The clean, masculine yet vibrance and deapth of the lines and colors represented by the 2007 Mens Winter collection, is according to me the best in a while. Gone are the days were we had to don in the same dull robes as the previous year, etc
Fashion Week. Hey I must say well done to the Lush African’s making sure we are ahead of the Game!!! We have the it to be out on the Milan Fashion week, just got back to London from the Paris one!!! We can make it there!!! Well done xxx

Insipid. I find most of this very uninspiring and bland. Not very fashion forward or fresh I’m afraid.
